Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade opens energy management training course for businesses

The training course had a large number of students who were energy management officers in key energy-using facilities and industrial, handicraft, commercial and service production facilities in Nghe An province.

The training course lasted for 5 days, directly delivered by Mr. Duong Chi Cong - Technical Director - Vietnam Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade said: Nghe An is a province with an increasingly growing industrial scale, with many enterprises in the key energy user category. Therefore, improving the professional capacity of the energy management team at industrial establishments is extremely necessary and has profound practical significance.

The training course is organized to help trainees update legal regulations; master professional knowledge, methods of management and efficient use of energy; as well as access practical experiences, tools and advanced energy saving solutions. Thereby, helping trainees have a solid foundation to effectively implement energy management at their units.

In the context that the whole country is promoting the energy conversion program, aiming at the goal of green and sustainable development, the use of energy economically and efficiently is not only a legal requirement under the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy, but also an important task to contribute to reducing production costs and improving competitiveness for enterprises. Thereby, contributing to the national goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting the environment.

By participating in the training course, trainees are fully equipped with knowledge and skills in energy management and have a firm grasp of legal regulations related to the use of energy economically and efficiently at production and business establishments; Build and deploy an energy management system model to optimize production and business costs and reduce energy loss at business establishments, meeting legal regulations.

With careful preparation by the Organizing Committee, a team of experienced lecturers from VETS Company, and the serious learning spirit of the students, the course contributes to promoting the use of energy economically and efficiently in the province.

Students participating in the training course will receive 100% tuition support when participating in the training course and will be granted a certificate from the Ministry of Industry and Trade .

The training course includes officers in charge of energy at enterprises that meet the standards and conditions specified in Point a, Clause 1, Article 35 of the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy: Have a college degree or higher in energy or related technical fields for key energy-using facilities in industrial production, construction works, and service activities; Have a diploma from a related technical college or higher for key energy-using facilities in agricultural production and transportation.
