Hai Ba Trung Ward: Supported social security activities and the "For the Poor" Fund with more than 1.42 billion VND

In his commemorative speech, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Ba Trung Ward Nguyen Hien Phuong emphasized that the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day is an opportunity for the entire Party, people and army to work together to foster and consolidate the great national unity bloc - the decisive factor for all victories of the Vietnamese revolution.

Promoting the glorious tradition, in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward will continue to promote its core political role in gathering, attracting and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc. At the same time, deploy patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, participate in social supervision and criticism, actively participate in building the Party and government, contributing to building the ward and the capital to develop sustainably, richly, civilized, modern, and with happy people.

At the program, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward reported the results of supporting the "For the Poor" Fund and caring for and supporting people in difficult circumstances in the area in 2025; at the same time, mobilizing agencies and units to respond to the peak month "For the Poor" and social security in 2025.

Responding to the Peak Month "For the poor and social security" in 2025 taking place from October 17 to November 18, 2025 launched by the city, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the "For the poor" Fund Mobilization Committee of the ward advised the Party Committee to issue leadership and direction documents. At the same time, the organization launched units to support the "For the poor" Fund at all levels, in which each cadre, civil servant, employee, and worker supported at least 1 day's salary, and business households and people in the area supported at least 1 day's income.

At the program, the Organizing Committee received support for the regular support model for people in difficult circumstances to prevent re-poverty from 25 agencies, businesses, and philanthropists, with a total amount of more than 705 million VND.

The Organizing Committee received support for the Ward's "For the Poor" Fund in 2025 from 34 agencies, organizations, units and people of 61 residential groups with an amount of nearly 720.5 million VND. The total amount of money registered to support social security activities and the Ward's "For the Poor" Fund to date is more than 1.42 billion VND.

Within the framework of the program, the Ward's "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee presented 327 gifts with a total value of 239.7 million VND to households and individuals in difficult circumstances. From the support of agencies, organizations, businesses and philanthropists in the area, the ward regularly provided support to 15 households in particularly difficult circumstances, with a level of 1.5 million VND/month and 1 household with a level of 1 million VND/month (in the last 2 months of 2025 and the whole year of 2026).
