N3 platform, SUV hybrid design
Custin was researched and developed at the Hyundai Beijing factory (a joint venture between Hyundai and BAIC Group), positioned between Staria and Stargazer, competing with Toyota Innova Cross, KIA Carnival. The car uses the N3-Platform architecture (shared with Santa Fe, Tucson), dimensions of length x width x height 4,950 x 1,850 x 1,725 mm, wheelbase 3,055 mm, ground clearance 170 mm.
The exterior is an MPV-SUV hybrid with soft but decisive curves. The front of the car features a large radiator grille and a seamlessly connected Parametric Hidden Lights LED strip. The body has raised ribs and 17-18 inch brushed rims depending on the version.

Electric sliding doors on both sides for convenient entry and exit, with door step lights. Rearview mirrors with integrated turn signals, cameras and blind spot warnings; placed on the body in combination with slim A-pillars to reduce blind spots. The rear of the car uses a continuous LED taillight cluster; the word HYUNDAI replaces the traditional logo.
7-seat cabin focuses on comfort and practicality
The dashboard is inspired by a “spaceship”, emphasizing comfort. The 10.4-inch vertical screen supports navigation specifically for the Vietnamese market and connects to Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The leather-wrapped steering wheel has integrated paddle shifters, behind is an LCD digital clock panel.

The second row of independent Captain-style seats prioritizes privacy and relaxation: 10-way electric adjustment, maximum recline up to 135 degrees, with cooling/heating, wireless charging for each seat and work table. The front row of leather seats, depending on the version, has electric adjustment for both driver and passenger seats, driver's seat memory, ventilation/heating.
Flexible storage space: 261 liters when using all 3 rows of seats; 707 liters when folding the third row of seats; 1,223 liters when folding the two rear rows of seats.
Other amenities: electronic handbrake, dual sunroof, electric trunk (some versions have hands-free trunk opening), one-touch electric windows (depending on version), rear seat sunshades, automatic air conditioning with vents and charging ports for all 3 rows of seats, smart key and push-button start (supports remote start).
