Students in Dak Lak province will be off from school from the afternoon of November 6 to the end of November 7 to proactively prevent and avoid storm No. 13.

Implementing Official Dispatch No. 005/CD-UBND dated November 5, 2025 of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province on urgently deploying a response plan to storm No. 13 and heavy rain and floods in Dak Lak province, to ensure the safety of children, students, teachers and staff of educational institutions, on the morning of November 6, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province issued a document for students in the whole province to take a break from school from the afternoon of November 6 to the end of November 7 to proactively prevent and avoid storms.

In the following days, depending on the weather situation, heads of educational institutions will proactively let students stay home from school; not organize teaching and educational activities for students when weather conditions and facilities do not ensure safety for students and teachers. During the school break, educational institutions will arrange for leaders to be on duty according to regulations.

The Department of Education and Training also requested educational institutions to continue to proactively respond to storm No. 13 and heavy rains according to the department's previous directives. In case of unusual incidents, units must proactively report to local authorities and the Department of Education and Training for handling instructions.
