To cope with storm No. 13, the Provincial Police have requested all professional units and police of communes and wards to strictly maintain 24/24 duty. Forces, vehicles and equipment are checked and ensured to be ready to mobilize and promptly handle any arising situations. The spirit of "4 on-the-spot" is deployed continuously and flexibly according to the development of the storm situation.
Based on the forecasting work, the Provincial Police have directed professional units to coordinate with local police to conduct a comprehensive review of vulnerable areas, especially residential areas along rivers and streams, steep terrain, and easily isolated during heavy rains.
The system of irrigation dams, hydroelectric power plants and urban drainage infrastructure is also carefully inspected to detect early risks of insecurity and handle bottlenecks, minimizing local flooding.

On key traffic routes, especially Ngoan Muc Pass, Prenn Pass, national highways such as: 20, 27, 28, 28B... the Traffic Police force is required to increase patrols, assess the current situation, proactively warn and divert traffic. When a traffic situation occurs, the Police force will arrange forces to block and guide people and vehicles to move safely.
The Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police force is required to maintain a high level of readiness; inspect and maintain specialized vehicles and materials, and be ready to deploy forces immediately when required.
At the grassroots level, the Commune Police are required to closely follow the community, implementing the motto of "going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every household", advising people to reinforce their houses, proactively evacuate from areas at risk of landslides; at the same time, monitor stream water levels and weather developments to promptly warn.

In addition, the Provincial Police coordinated with local authorities to develop and review plans to evacuate people according to each level of natural disaster; prepare centralized evacuation sites and means of transportation support in case of sudden bad weather changes.
In the face of the complicated storm situation, Lam Dong Provincial Police advise people to be vigilant, proactively check and reinforce their residences, and move important assets to safe locations. People should absolutely not go through areas with rapid water flow, landslides or unusual water accumulation, and strictly follow the instructions and warnings of the authorities.
