350 households in Diem Thuy commune received support to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

On the morning of November 7, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Tuong Van Monastery Charity Fund (Ho Chi Minh City) and the Fatherland Front Committee of Diem Thuy Commune to present gifts to households affected by storm No. 11.

Attending the program were comrade Vu Duy Hoang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

People receive support gifts.

The recent circulation of storm No. 11 caused 2,260 households in 37/62 hamlets of Diem Thuy commune to be flooded, more than 700 hectares of rice were lost, more than 400 hectares of crops and fruit trees were damaged, and many public works were damaged.

Here, the delegation presented 350 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to households that suffered heavy losses. This activity demonstrates the spirit of “mutual love”, helping people in flooded areas quickly stabilize their lives and production.

Previously, the Delegation presented 650 gifts to support people in Gia Sang ward and Dong Hy commune.
