On November 7, in response to complicated weather developments due to the impact of storm No. 13, localities in Lam Dong province issued warnings and deployed response plans for heavy rain, flash floods, landslides and localized flooding.

According to the Lam Dong Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, in the next 24-48 hours, the province will have moderate to heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain, with rainfall ranging from 40-80mm/24 hours, some places over 100mm/24 hours. On rivers, water levels will increase, especially on Luy, Ca Ty, and La Nga rivers, there is a possibility of flooding with flood peaks from alert level 2 to alert level 3.
The risk of flash floods on rivers, small streams, landslides on slopes, mountain passes, steep slopes and localized flooding in low-lying areas in urban areas is very high. At sea, strong southwest winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, waves 2.5-4.5m high offshore, 1-2m high on the shore. It is forecasted that from noon on November 7, the wind will gradually decrease.

Faced with this situation, localities such as Phan Thiet ward and Phan Ri Cua commune have proactively implemented plans to evacuate people, prepare supplies and rescue vehicles, patrol and guard at key locations, ensure the safety of power systems, communications, traffic works, schools, and medical stations. At the same time, information and warnings were quickly provided to people, especially in riverside areas, low-lying areas and boat moorings.
Representatives of leaders of some communes and wards of Lam Dong province said that being prepared and responding promptly is necessary to minimize damage to people and property, and at the same time called on people to be more vigilant and follow the instructions of the authorities.
