Economic-Defense Group 710 handed over 34 breeding cows to poor households

(GLO)-Economic-Defense Group 710 (Army Corps 15) has just handed over 34 breeding cows to poor and near-poor households in Ia Lau and Ia Mo communes.

This is an activity within the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. 34 breeding cows have a total value of more than 800 million VND. In addition, the unit also sent officers to families to instruct people on techniques for cow care, breeding and building barns.

Previously, in 2022 and 2024, Economic-Defense Group 710 gave 74 cows to disadvantaged households in the area with a cost of more than 1.9 billion VND.

The model of supporting breeding cows has been effectively implemented by Economic-Defense Group 710, helping many households in border areas escape poverty; thereby contributing to socio-economic development and maintaining security and defense in the area.
