The "Garden of Happiness" exhibition brings together diverse ceramic works depicting various figures such as bees, butterflies, horses, elephants, cats, flowers, and leaves. Each layer of glaze is the result of the artist's tireless experimentation, reflecting a spirit of continuous learning, experience, and enjoyment of life's values. Through this, the exhibition opens up a bright and vibrant space brimming with life.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, artist Siu Quy, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, commented: “From everyday ceramics, many artists, including Nguyen Thi Dung, have persistently transitioned to creating art ceramics, producing unique works that cannot be mass-produced. This is the result of serious hard work and dedication to the craft.”

The ceramic works at the exhibition were meticulously crafted by artist Nguyen Thi Dung. The artist used finely textured, pliable clay to create flower petals and leaves. As a result, when fired, the petals are strong and durable, yet retain their delicate and graceful appearance.
Moreover, the artist skillfully combines traditional and innovative techniques, resulting in unique works. In terms of style, the artist retains the traditional Biên Hòa pottery techniques of openwork carving and sculpting, combined with the relief sculpting techniques of the Cây Mai pottery style. This unique combination of two long-standing traditional pottery styles and individual techniques gives the artist's works distinctive forms. In addition, the colored glazes are applied using a glaze painting technique. Multiple layers of glaze are layered and fired multiple times, enhancing the sharpness and detail of the works.
