Using sweet potato varieties with good quality, suitable for consumer tastes, such as: Japanese sweet potato, Hong Luong, Hoang Long.

For the main crop of potatoes, the commune will focus on production from November 5 to 15, 2025 to limit tuber cracking when it rains at the end of the season and use high-quality potato varieties that meet consumer tastes, potato varieties that are processed and linked to production and product consumption, such as FL2215, Marabel, Atlantic... In the fields of Yen Ninh village, people are actively plowing the land, preparing for potato production. At the same time, they are cultivating pots and sowing vegetable seeds to prepare for the late winter crop. For large-scale production, people have applied synchronous mechanization to production to reduce costs and improve productivity and quality. Mr. Mai Dang Bac, director of Nga Yen Agricultural Service Cooperative, said: This year's winter crop has encountered many unfavorable weather conditions right from the beginning of the season, so to ensure value and increase economic efficiency, special attention must be paid to the timing. For warm-loving plants such as corn, chili, cucumber, people have started planting early. Cold-loving plants such as mustard greens, cabbage, kohlrabi, carrots, etc. are arranged to be planted after this time to suit the weather conditions and grow well. Along with that, the commune encourages people to expand the area of high-value commodity crops, linked to product consumption through contracts with businesses.
