Hong Duc University students learn about startups to "incubate" entrepreneurs

On the morning of November 8, Hong Duc University organized the program "Student Startup - Entrepreneur Incubation" for the 2025-2026 school year and exchanged entrepreneurs with the lecture hall.

Speaking at the program, Associate Professor Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh, Vice President of Hong Duc University emphasized: “In the context of a knowledge-based economy , globalization and digital transformation taking place strongly, entrepreneurship and innovation are no longer an individual choice, but an inevitable trend of modern society. For students - a young generation full of energy and creativity - entrepreneurship is not only a journey to build a career for themselves, but also a process of creating value for the community and society”.

Associate Professor Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh advised students: “Starting a business is not a path full of roses. It is a journey of challenges, failures and many thorns. But if your dream is big enough, your desire is strong enough and your belief is strong enough, then there is no limit that can prevent you from reaching success. Start from small things, learn constantly and dare to act."

At the business exchange program with the lecture hall with the theme "Nurturing entrepreneurial aspirations", students had the opportunity to have their experiences shared by experts and typical businessmen and to have their problems solved when starting a business.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the "Student Entrepreneurship - Entrepreneur Incubation" program was built by Hong Duc University as an intensive practical training journey, including 4 stages: Exchange "Entrepreneurs with the classroom" to inspire and share practical experiences; Training awareness and entrepreneurial thinking to help students understand the value of innovation and seize business opportunities; Training in-depth skills and knowledge in financial management, capital calling, leadership skills, critical thinking and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning and starting a business; Practicing implementing real projects - where students are directly advised by experts and entrepreneurs, experience at businesses, guided through legal processes, product commercialization and student business incubation.

Representatives of Hong Duc University presented flowers to thank Thanh Hoa City Business Association for accompanying the program.

The program "Student Startup - Entrepreneur Incubation" is an annual activity, part of the school's strategy to develop a comprehensive startup ecosystem, aiming to make startup activities a part of the training program and student experience.
