MC Dai Nghia and singer Dang Khoi burst into tears at the "tearful" family situation of a father who lost an arm but still struggles to raise his children in Ca Mau.

The program Vietnamese Family Home episode 159 just aired has awarded more than 300 million, of which 92 million is a bonus from Hoa Sen Group sent to difficult circumstances.

Episode 159 of the program Vietnamese Family Home , hosted by MC Dai Nghia, has just aired, bringing many lingering emotions. This week's special guests, actress Le Ha Anh and singer couple Dang Khoi - Thuy Anh, could not hide their emotions when witnessing the difficult circumstances of the orphans. The artists sent sincere words of encouragement and made efforts to complete the challenge to bring home valuable rewards from Hoa Sen Group , contributing to giving strength to the characters in the program.

MC Dai Nghia, actress Le Ha Anh and singer Dang Khoi and his wife Thuy Anh were moved by the difficult situation of Nguyen Van Tinh and his three children.

Nguyen Van Tinh (born in 2009), an 11th grade student at Le Van Dau High School, Vinh Loi Commune, Ca Mau Province, is the main character of this episode. Tinh's mother died of heart disease when his brother was just over 10 days old. Since then, Tinh has lived with his father - Nguyen Van Bac (born in 1985) and younger brother Nguyen Trung Dang (born in 2017).

The incident continued to strike when six years later, Mr. Bac had a serious traffic accident, had to amputate one of his hands and completely lost the ability to do heavy work. Since then, he has been selling lottery tickets to support his two children. Every day, he sells about 200 tickets, traveling from morning until 10 pm to make a living.

Despite losing an arm, Mr. Bac still steadfastly makes a living by selling lottery tickets to take care of his children.

However, in early 2025, he once again had an accident that crushed his spine and severely injured his abdomen, forcing him to stay in bed for four months. The cost of treatment was more than 50 million VND, most of which was thanks to the help of neighbors. Although walking was still very difficult, Mr. Bac still tried to get up to continue selling lottery tickets to support his children.

The house of the father and his three children was built more than 10 years ago and is now seriously degraded. The grandparents who live nearby often help out and take care of daily meals. Despite their old age, they still raise a few chickens and ducks to improve their meals. Tinh's house does not have a complete toilet, so the two brothers often go to their grandparents' house to bathe and use the toilet.

In a small house in Ca Mau, three fathers and sons ate rice together with a simple fried egg dish.

The image of a single father who lost an arm, still working hard to raise his son for many years made MC Dai Nghia unable to hold back his emotions. He shared: “I wonder why Tinh’s family has encountered so much misfortune. When his brother was only 10 days old, his mother passed away, and the three of them, who depended on each other, continuously encountered incidents. Bac had to endure so many injuries, but still tried to bear life, it was really too hard.”

Singer Dang Khoi expressed his admiration for his father with extraordinary willpower, despite pain and deprivation, he still strongly took care of his children. His wife - Thuy Anh also choked up and shared: "For me, the saddest thing is when a child is orphaned, without parents by his side. I was really touched when I heard Dang say 'I love my mother very much and always keep her in my heart', even though he lost his mother when he was only 10 days old."

The family of three, Nguyen Van Tinh and his son, won first prize in episode 159 and took home a total prize of 50 million VND.

At the end of the competition, Nguyen Quoc Thai's family came in third place, receiving a prize of 18 million VND. Bach Nguyen Bich Tran came in second place, receiving 24 million VND. Nguyen Van Tinh's family won first place, overcoming a special challenge and bringing home a total prize of 50 million VND. Thus, the total prize money that Hoa Sen Group gave to families this week was 92 million VND.

Bach Nguyen Bich Tran's family came in second and received a prize of 24 million VND.

In addition, actress Le Ha Anh used her own money to give each family 10 million VND. Singer Dang Khoi and his wife Thuy Anh also gave each family 10 million VND with the hope of sharing some of the difficulties of the characters in the program.

Notably, upon learning that their parents were about to join the Vietnamese Family Home , singer Dang Khoi's two sons, Dang Khang and Dang Anh, personally prepared small envelopes, drawing from their personal savings, to give to children in difficult circumstances.

On the envelope, Dang Khang wrote an emotional line: “This is the breakfast money I saved. I would like to send it to you. Although it is little, it is my heart to give to you. Keep up the good work!” Dang Anh also sent words of encouragement, adding spirit and strength to the children in the program.

Nguyen Quoc Thai's family came in third and received a prize of 18 million VND.

With the support of sponsors and guest artists, a large number of audiences and local donors who came to watch the program live contributed nearly 150 million VND to give to those in difficult circumstances.
