In De Gi commune, according to preliminary statistics, storm No. 13 caused heavy damage with 8 houses completely collapsed; including 6 households in An Quang Dong village, 1 household in Chanh Danh village and 1 household in Thai Binh village. At the same time, about 700 houses were damaged and had their roofs blown off.
In addition, the aquaculture sector was also greatly affected with 255 cages damaged, including 54 fish cages and 201 oyster cages.

Storm No. 13 caused a lot of damage in De Gi commune.
In a quick chat with the leaders of De Gi commune, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc praised the proactive response spirit of the local government, armed forces and people.
Regarding the work of overcoming the consequences, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the De Gi commune authorities to focus on mobilizing forces to support people in rebuilding temporary houses, restoring production, and stabilizing their lives soon. In addition, the locality must fully report the damage to the province to have timely support plans; absolutely do not let people lack food or shelter after the storm.
"Helping people overcome the consequences of storm No. 13 must be considered an urgent and top priority task," the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized.
