Vinh Am completed site clearance for Hoa River bridge

With the active participation of the entire local political system, Vinh Am commune (Hai Phong) has completed site clearance for the Hoa River Bridge construction investment project.

The Hoa River Bridge Construction Investment Project site was handed over to the contractor to construct the project items.

Untie the final "knots"

After the inspection by the City People's Committee leaders on the site clearance work of the Hoa River Bridge Construction Investment Project, from September 16 to now, Vinh Am commune has propagated and mobilized the last 15 households and 1 organization with works and architectural objects within the project's recovery boundary to voluntarily receive money and hand over the site to the construction unit, without having to organize enforcement.

The family of Mr. Khong Huu Dac in Tam Cuong 1 village, Vinh Am commune was the last household to receive compensation and land clearance for the project on October 25. According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Len, Vice Chairman of Vinh Am Commune People's Committee, the commune had previously successfully persuaded Co Chinh Church to agree to receive compensation and donate 21.2 ^square meters of land to expand the road.

The project to invest in building a 1.65 km long Hoa River Bridge in Vinh Am Commune. To implement the project, it is necessary to reclaim 3.98 hectares of land from 235 families, individuals and 8 organizations in Vinh Am Commune.

With the drastic participation of the entire political system, Vinh Am commune has officially removed the "bottleneck" in the local site clearance work. Households have basically completed dismantling works and architectural objects and handed over the site to the construction unit.

Mr. Ngo Trung Kien, Chairman of Vinh Am Commune People's Committee, said that the Hoa River Bridge Construction Investment Project, when put into operation, will create favorable conditions to promote the local socio-economic development, ensure traffic safety, and facilitate traffic connections between the southern areas of the city and neighboring provinces. Therefore, immediately after the decision to implement the project, the locality closely coordinated with the investor and the Vinh Bao Area Project Management Board, focusing the entire political system on the implementation of site clearance. Thanks to that, the site clearance work received the consensus and high support of the people, and the progress was quite fast.

Open inter-regional connections and attract investment

The Hoa River Bridge connecting Vinh Bao area, Hai Phong city and Thai Thuy area, Hung Yen province is one of the important traffic projects implemented in Vinh Am commune. The project gradually completes the regional traffic connection system, reduces traffic pressure on the current route, and ensures traffic safety.

The project not only creates conditions to promote socio-economic development but also opens up many great opportunities for Vinh Am commune and communes in the southern part of the city such as Nguyen Binh Khiem and Vinh Hai communes in attracting investment in projects to develop industrial parks and clusters; develop commercial housing, social housing...

Party Secretary, Chairman of Vinh Am Commune People's Council Bui Gia Huan informed: In the general planning of the city, Vinh Am commune is the socio-economic center of the cluster of 8 communes in the southeast of the old Vinh Bao district. This favorable geographical location makes the commune a bridge between Vinh Bao service urban area and the Southern Hai Phong coastal economic zone and the Free Trade Zone - oriented and forecasted to develop strongly in the period 2026 - 2030.

Along with being adjacent to the new National Highway 37 and Hoa River Bridge, Vinh Am is the bridge connecting the Southern Coastal Economic Zone of Hai Phong with Diem Dien Economic Zone, Hung Yen Province. Moreover, the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong Expressway is being invested and a series of adjacent industrial parks and clusters will resonate with the socio-economic development of Vinh Am commune and localities in the region.

With the potential, advantages and opportunities from the Hoa River Bridge Construction Investment Project, Vinh Am commune will attract investment projects on social housing and commercial housing to create a housing fund for workers in 4 industrial parks: Vinh Quang, Hoa Binh - Tran Duong A, Hoa Binh - Tran Duong B and Tran Duong.

At the same time, effectively exploit local land funds to develop industrial parks, clusters, and commercial service areas along Highway 37; maximize trade between Hai Phong and Hung Yen via Highway 37.

The Hoa River Bridge construction investment project connecting the traffic infrastructure between Tran Duong - Hoa Binh Industrial Park, the special national relic site of the Temple of Trinh Trang Nguyen Binh Khiem; Tan Lien Industrial Cluster, Vinh Quang Industrial Park, Vinh Hai Commune... with the industrial parks and clusters of Giang Bien, Trung Lap, An Hoa, and Tam Da has been and is being formed.
