Coffee prices reversed course and fell sharply on November 8th.

(GLO) - Today (November 8), domestic coffee prices reversed course and fell sharply by 1,700-2,500 VND/kg after a slight increase yesterday. In key producing regions, coffee prices dropped to 115,700-116,800 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by 1,700 VND/kg, to 116,500 VND/kg; in Dak Lak, prices decreased by 2,200 VND/kg, currently at 116,800 VND/kg. Meanwhile, in Lam Dong province, coffee prices dropped sharply by 2,500 VND/kg, to 115,700 VND/kg.

On the global market, Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange fluctuated in opposite directions. Specifically, the November 2025 contract fell sharply by $156/ton to $4,544/ton; while the March 2026 contract increased by $96/ton to $4,554/ton.

On the New York exchange, Arabica coffee prices recorded a simultaneous increase, with the December 2025 contract rising by 6.8 cents/lb to 403.55 cents/lb; and the September 2026 contract rising by 3.15 cents/lb to 342.2 cents/lb.

Meanwhile, at the close of the most recent trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery was 495.05 cents/lb, up 8.85 cents/lb; the price for May 2026 delivery decreased by 19.95 cents/lb, to 459.95 cents/lb.
