More than 300 officers and soldiers of the South Central Coast Mobile Police Regiment joined forces to help people overcome the consequences of storm No. 13.

(GLO)- Joining hands to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi), the South Central Mobile Police Regiment mobilized more than 300 officers and soldiers to participate in cleaning up the environment and supporting people in repairing their houses.

After storm No. 13 passed, many trees fell down, affecting traffic and urban landscape. The South Central Mobile Police Regiment assigned forces to cut and clear fallen trees at the Gia Lai Provincial Convention Center; parks and roads in Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Bac, Quy Nhon Tay wards and Tuy Phuoc commune.

In addition, the unit also helped 18 households clean up and repair damaged houses, helping them stabilize their lives soon after the storm.

This activity demonstrates the sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers of the South Central Mobile Police Regiment towards the people in the area where the unit is stationed; at the same time, it spreads the beautiful image of the police soldier "forgetting himself for the country, serving the people".

It is known that in addition to Gia Lai province, the South Central Coast Mobile Police Regiment also mobilized officers and soldiers to support people, schools, and medical stations in Quang Ngai province to overcome the consequences of storm No. 13.
