On November 7, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan directly inspected the scene of Kliec bridge on Truong Son Dong road (section through village 4, Po To commune) collapsed due to storm No. 3.
Previously, at around 1am the same day, Kliec bridge collapsed due to strong flood water, the collapsed section was about 10m long, and was swept away by the flood. The collapse of Kliec bridge not only caused traffic disruption but also greatly affected the transportation of agricultural products, necessities and daily life of people in Po To commune.

During the inspection, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested the functional forces to urgently make temporary repairs and prioritize opening safe passages to serve people in harvesting and transporting agricultural products. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee assigned specialized units to promptly complete a solid construction plan to ensure the long-term stability of the project in the face of complicated rain and flood developments.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan also praised the People's Committee of Po To commune and the local police force for their efforts and effective response to storm No. 13, helping many households escape danger caused by the storm. Accordingly, Po To commune was awarded 100 million VND and the Security Team in the area 20 million VND.
