Mr. Do Ha Nam , Chairman of the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), has just announced that at the World Rice Summit 20255, organized by The Rice Trader (TRT) from November 7-9 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Vietnam's ST25 rice won first prize in the "World's Best Rice" contest in 2025.

This is the third time Vietnam's ST25 rice has won first prize in the "World's Best Rice" contest. The first time ST25 rice won this award was in 2019 and the second time was in 2023.
According to Mr. Do Ha Nam, in recent years, ST25 rice has become more and more known in the world market. Interestingly, Vietnamese people living in countries around the world are switching to eating ST25 rice.
Many overseas Vietnamese share that ST25 rice is very delicious. Therefore, many Vietnamese people when visiting their children and relatives who are studying, working or living abroad, buy ST25 rice as gifts. This is an important basis to promote the export of ST25 rice to the world market.
