Accompanying people in storms and floods
On the morning of November 9, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung led a working delegation to visit and directly encourage households affected by storm No. 13 in Gia Lai province. Also joining the delegation were Mr. Vuong Hong Linh, Deputy General Director of Agribank and related units.

At the destinations, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung kindly visited and deeply shared the losses and damages that Gia Lai people are suffering after the storm, encouraging them to make efforts to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and restore production. The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the Government and the Prime Minister always closely monitor the situation and will have timely and comprehensive support policies to help localities recover soon after natural disasters.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested Gia Lai province to concentrate all resources to overcome the consequences of the storm, prioritizing support for the most severely affected households. Sectors and localities need to urgently restore electricity, water, and traffic systems, ensuring people's lives and daily activities; at the same time, quickly rebuild production and stabilize the socio-economy in accordance with the Government's direction.

On this occasion, Mr. Vuong Hong Linh, Deputy General Director of Agribank, on behalf of the bank, symbolically presented support funds of 60 million VND/household to 7 households whose houses were completely collapsed in Gia Lai, part of the 3 billion VND package that Agribank supported the locality. In addition, the delegation also presented many practical gifts from the contributions of Agribank officers and employees with the hearts of always accompanying and sharing with the community.
Mr. Vuong Hong Linh also directed branches to review affected customers and production households to implement appropriate credit policies, ensuring that no one is left behind. At the same time, he emphasized: "Agribank has and will continue to implement preferential credit packages to support home repairs, restore agricultural production, livestock and business, with simple procedures, quick disbursement, ensuring that capital reaches customers promptly and quickly."

During the working trip, Mr. Vuong Hong Linh, Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong, Head of Agribank Representative Office in the Central region and the working delegation also visited Ngoc Chau Company Limited - a customer who suffered heavy damage due to storm No. 13. Here, the delegation presented 20 million VND in support and encouraged the business to quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize production activities. Mr. Vuong Hong Linh directed Agribank Binh Dinh Branch to pay attention and promptly implement credit policies to support damaged customers.
The delegation also visited the Go Boi Transaction Office - Tuy Phuoc - Binh Dinh, where the facilities were affected by the storm. Mr. Vuong Hong Linh encouraged the staff to quickly overcome the consequences, stabilize their lives to continue to perform well the political tasks of the unit. Agribank representative presented 10 million VND to support the Transaction Office to repair the facilities damaged by the storm.
Support 3 billion VND to overcome storm damage
Previously, on the afternoon of November 8, at the headquarters of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung and his delegation had a working session, visited and encouraged local people - who had just suffered heavy damage due to storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi). On this occasion, Mr. Vuong Hong Linh, representing Agribank, presented 3 billion VND to support Gia Lai province to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, helping coastal people stabilize their lives and restore production.

The support activities in Gia Lai are part of a series of community volunteer programs that Agribank has deployed nationwide, aiming to promptly share difficulties with people in areas affected by natural disasters and floods.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung sincerely thanked the timely support of organizations and units, including Agribank, for helping people soon stabilize their lives and restore production.
