This is an area directly affected by storm No. 13 and there are many factories built and assembled with corrugated iron roofs. Therefore, through actual inspection, many factories of enterprises: Han Viet Hai Company specializing in the production of bedding, HD Nhon Hoi Company specializing in the production of exported wooden furniture, Faco Company specializing in animal feed, Tan Dai Hung Company specializing in exported rattan and bamboo products,... were severely damaged. Many corrugated iron roofs were blown off and torn by the wind, seriously affecting the raw materials as well as the products of these companies. Meanwhile, at these enterprises, there are currently hundreds of tons of goods, thousands of products and raw materials at risk of damage (water seepage) if not covered promptly.

Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that according to weather forecasts, in the next few days, Nhon Hoi Industrial Park will have very heavy rain. Therefore, companies must urgently plan to relocate essential goods and must save these goods, especially wooden products, blankets, pillows, mattresses, etc.

"The province will support and accompany businesses to overcome this difficult time. If they need help transporting goods to avoid the rain, the province will ask the police and army to support them; at the same time, it will ask transportation businesses to stop their activities to prioritize supporting businesses in industrial parks to move goods at risk of being wet by the rain after storm 13 destroyed the roofing system and factories," Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed.

According to the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, through preliminary inspection, the damage to businesses in the province, especially in industrial zones, is quite large, especially businesses caught in the storm's path. In the immediate future, one of the province's top priorities is to focus on restoring electricity and water to businesses so that they can recover. Regarding the electricity system, the province has also requested the electricity industry to urgently focus on repairing and strive to restore it to production units by Tuesday.

At the same time, for businesses that have purchased insurance, insurance companies try to do it early for businesses to determine the extent of damage. Based on the determination of those damages, businesses begin to recover on the basis of compensation from the insurance company.

For businesses that have suffered heavy damage, the province will re-count, discuss and consider possible tax reductions, and propose separate tax reductions for businesses that have suffered damage in the province.

In addition, the province will focus on restoring all kinds of infrastructure, including electricity and roads, so that businesses can quickly resume production. In particular, the province will work with banks to consider reducing loans for businesses, especially those that have suffered losses in both production and tourism services.
