Diệu Hoa revealed that her partner wore a kurta - a traditional Indian outfit for men - while she wore a sari, chosen by Indian women for important occasions. Both designs were in the same red color and were custom-made in India, with elaborate embellishments by craftsmen.
The design worn by Dieu Hoa weighed about 10 kg, with gold thread embroidery and Swarovski crystals. Miss Vietnam 1990 said she really liked her and her husband's outfits at this year's party because the patterns were typical of India.
