Da Nang Border Guards presented 200 gifts to support people affected by floods.

DNO - The Da Nang City Border Guard Command has just coordinated with a charitable organization to give gifts to people who suffered heavy losses due to floods in Hoi An Tay and Dien Ban Dong wards.

During the prolonged flood at the end of October, Hoi An Tay ward had more than 2,500 households/more than 10,800 people flooded. The areas of Nam Dieu, Thanh Chiem, Hau Xa, An Bang urgently evacuated 48 households/172 people to safety.

Meanwhile, Dien Ban Dong ward has 4,620 households in 17 blocks affected by floods. Dozens of hectares of vegetables, ornamental flowers and infrastructure were severely damaged.

In order to share the difficulties with households in the two wards, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command and Kien Giang 68 Construction Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company presented 200 gifts (VND 600,000/gift) with a total value of VND 120 million.
