Improve the effectiveness of law making and enforcement

On the afternoon of November 7, in Hanoi, the Central Council for Coordinating the Dissemination and Education of Law organized a Ceremony to respond to the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2025, in person and online to provinces and cities.

Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly attended and gave a speech. Also attending were Comrade Ho Quoc Dung, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Central Council for Coordinating Law Dissemination and Education ; representatives of leaders of central and local departments, ministries, branches. Attending at the Thai Nguyen bridge point was Comrade Nong Quang Nhat, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

After more than 10 years of implementation, the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (November 9) has increasingly become an important political and legal event of the country, actively responded to by ministries, agencies, localities and people, proactively participating in many practical and effective activities.

The 2025 celebration was held in the context that the country is promoting the revolution of streamlining the apparatus and operating two-level local governments with a spirit of urgency and high political determination; the Party and State have issued and resolutely implemented many important and breakthrough policies to bring the country to prosperous and powerful development in the new era...

At the ceremony, the Ministry of Justice launched the official version of the National Law Portal at phapluat.gov.vn - a shared digital platform built and operated by the Ministry of Justice with the support of FPT Group, integrating many new features, supporting people and businesses to access, look up, and answer legal questions quickly and conveniently in the digital environment.

In the program, many collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister for their outstanding achievements in law-making and enforcement in the 2024-2025 period; certificates and commemorative medals for legal exemplars in 2025. Thai Nguyen province had 1 individual honored, Ms. Nguyen Thi Voi, Inspector, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Dong Phuc commune.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Thanh Man requested ministries, branches and localities to strictly implement Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW dated December 30, 2023 of the Politburo, Resolution No. 97/2023/QH15 dated June 23, 2023 of the National Assembly; promptly issue documents detailing the implementation of the law; promote digital transformation, apply AI in the dissemination and education of law; improve the quality of consulting and appraisal of documents, ensuring that the promulgated laws are feasible, stable and meet development requirements.
