Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee considers adjusting and stopping investment policies for a number of projects.

On the morning of November 7, comrade Bui Van Luong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to listen to reports on adjusting and stopping investment policies for a number of projects and works.

At the meeting, representatives of the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works reported on the implementation of 3 projects, including: Construction of a specialized archive of the province and the headquarters of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Historical Archives Center (Phan Dinh Phung Ward); The central house for radio and television program production of the Provincial Radio and Television Station (now the Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television) and the Project to build training and competition facilities for rowing (Nui Coc Lake Tourist Area, Dai Phuc Commune).

Representatives of the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works reported on the implementation status of 3 projects.

Previously, the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Civil and Industrial Works proposed to stop the implementation of all 3 projects. However, after the review process, the Provincial People's Committee issued many directive documents, seeking advice from relevant departments, branches and agencies.

Discussing at the meeting, delegates highly agreed on the urgency of the projects for the activities of each agency and unit receiving investment and the overall development of the province. However, due to the process of reorganizing and merging the organizational apparatus and new practical requirements, adjusting the investment policy is necessary to ensure suitability, efficiency and compliance with legal regulations.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Bui Van Luong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Regarding the project to build a specialized archive of the province and the headquarters of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Historical Archives Center, we will continue to implement the adjusted investment policy, ensuring compliance with regulations, efficiency and not causing loss or waste of the budget.

The project to build facilities for training and competition in rowing continues to be consulted and implemented in accordance with the correct order and procedures. The project to build a center for producing radio and television programs for the Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television has stopped implementation, while at the same time, research and propose suitable solutions in the coming time.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant units to urgently perform assigned tasks, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, publicity, transparency and effective use of public investment capital.
