Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh inspected the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13.

This morning, Standing Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh inspected and directed the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13 in some coastal areas of Quy Nhon Nam ward.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh inspected the Bai Xep area, where storm No. 13 blew off the roofs of more than 40 houses. Fortunately, these households were evacuated by the local authorities before the storm hit, so all of them were safe.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh acknowledged the efforts of the locality in protecting people during the storm; at the same time, directed the Party Committee, government and the entire political system to continue supporting households whose houses had their roofs blown off, quickly repairing them to stabilize their lives.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also inspected the Quy Hoa area, located close to the sea, where more than 30 households had their roofs blown off by the storm on the night of November 6. Thanks to the timely evacuation organized by the local authorities, all were safe. Most of the people here are leprosy patients, whose daily life was already inconvenient, so overcoming the consequences of the natural disaster was difficult.

Faced with that situation, immediately after storm No. 13 passed, the province directed shock forces including: troops under the Provincial Military Command, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, and the Party and Political Affairs Department under the Provincial Police to proactively help households whose roofs were blown off to overcome the consequences caused by the storm.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh praised the shock troops for proactively and promptly supporting the people right after the storm. This is a practical help, demonstrating the spirit of military-civilian solidarity, the concern of the Party Committee, the government and the entire political system for the people, especially the vulnerable, when people encounter difficulties and misfortunes; leaving no one behind.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh visited and encouraged some households to feel secure and confident in the help of the forces; at the same time, he noted that the locality should create all favorable conditions for the forces to urgently help the people, in order to quickly stabilize the people's lives as soon as possible.
