Ha Tay commune mobilizes people to donate land to expand road 190D

Ha Tay Commune (Hai Phong) is actively promoting and mobilizing people to donate land to expand Road 190D Phase 2.

Comrade Nguyen Dung Thanh, Vice Chairman of Ha Tay Commune People's Committee, answered people's concerns when building Road 190D.

On the afternoon of November 7, the leaders of Ha Tay commune and the commune's specialized departments and offices held a meeting to mobilize and propagate the people of An Lai village to donate land to expand Road 190D, phase 2, under the Project to renovate and upgrade Road 190D.

At the meeting, 100% of the households attending agreed with the policy and plan to widen the road. However, some opinions requested the commune government to support the dismantling and moving of assets when clearing the land.

Representatives of the commune government and heads of specialized departments specifically disseminated the project's policies and implementation plans, and listened to and directly answered people's questions. Mr. Nguyen Dung Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tay commune, said: "The commune persistently explained the benefits of the road, emphasizing that this is a project serving the people in general, contributing to changing the face of the countryside and promoting local socio -economic development."

People raised some opinions regarding the expansion of road 190D.

After completing the second phase of site clearance, the project will be implemented synchronously, creating a complete traffic axis, conveniently connecting residential areas in the commune and between Ha Tay commune and neighboring localities.

The project to renovate and upgrade the 190D road in Ha Tay commune, which is more than 3.4 km long, is divided into two phases. Phase 1, which is 1.27 km long, requires land acquisition from 48 households, individuals, and organizations. Up to now, people have basically agreed to donate land for road construction in the spirit of "0 VND" land clearance. Phase 2, which is more than 2 km long, requires land acquisition from 178 households, individuals, and organizations.

The project has a total investment of more than 60.5 billion VND, invested by the Thanh Ha Area Construction Investment Project Management Board. It is expected that the road will start construction in early December 2025 and be completed in October 2026. The project's goal is to complete rural traffic infrastructure, ensure safety for people and vehicles, and meet the criteria for building advanced, exemplary new rural areas.
