Total retail sales of goods and consumer services revenue increased by 9.3% in 10 months

(CT) - According to the General Statistics Office - Ministry of Finance, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in October 2025 is estimated at VND 598,400 billion, up 0.2% over the previous month and up 7.2% over the same period last year. Of which, revenue from the garment group increased by 12.3% over the same period last year; household appliances, tools and equipment increased by 8.9%; food and foodstuffs increased by 8.4%; accommodation and catering services increased by 14.1% and tourism and travel increased by 18.8%.

In the first 10 months of 2025, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue at current prices is estimated at nearly VND 5,773 trillion, up 9.3% over the same period last year (in the same period in 2024, it increased by 8.8%). Of which, retail sales of goods are estimated at VND 4,400 trillion, accounting for 76.2% of the total and up 8% over the same period last year; revenue from accommodation and catering services in the first 10 months of 2025 is estimated at more than VND 695 trillion, accounting for 12% of the total and up 14.6% over the same period last year. In the first 10 months of 2025, tourism revenue is estimated at VND 77,400 billion, accounting for 1.4% of the total and up 19.8% over the same period last year. Other service revenue is estimated at VND600,300 billion, accounting for 10.4% of the total and increasing by 11.8% over the same period last year.

According to the report of the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, the total retail sales of goods and service revenue in October 2025 is estimated at 31,649 billion VND, up 5% over the previous month. In the first 10 months of 2025, the total retail sales of goods and service revenue is estimated at more than 291,265 billion VND, up 16.5% over the same period last year.
