Removing difficulties and obstacles for tourism projects in Lam Dong

At the meeting, Loc Phat Binh Thuan Company Limited, the investor of Phuong Thao Resort Project in Hoa Thang commune, reported on the implementation status and difficulties in the implementation process.

The project was approved for investment in 2018, has been leased land, granted a land use right certificate and approved for a detailed 1/500 planning in November 2020. However, up to now, the project has not been granted a construction permit, and is behind schedule compared to regulations due to the need to adjust the scale and detailed planning of the project; in addition, it is also affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and changes in laws in the fields of investment, land, construction...

At the meeting, the representative of Loc Phat Binh Thuan Company Limited requested the Provincial People's Committee to consider extending the land use period, creating conditions for the zoning planning project to be completed and approved soon, and removing legal obstacles so that the project can continue to be implemented.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh acknowledged and shared the difficulties of enterprises, and affirmed that the province always accompanies, supports and creates maximum conditions for investors during the implementation process. However, the province will resolutely revoke projects that do not ensure progress and lack determination to implement.

To resolve difficulties for businesses, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to synthesize opinions from ministries, branches, and members attending the meeting, review documents, and advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and resolve before November 10, 2025. The People's Committee of Hoa Thang commune was requested to closely coordinate with businesses in the process of implementing related procedures. In particular, Loc Phat Binh Thuan Company Limited needs to regularly report on progress and implement the project as committed when the extension is granted.

On the same day, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh also worked with Thai Binh Tourism Company Limited on removing difficulties for the Thai Binh Tourism Project in Tan Thanh commune.

The investor representative said that after the project was approved, the company has implemented the necessary procedures to implement the project. However, the implementation process encountered some difficulties and problems related to land lease procedures, affecting the progress of implementation. Therefore, the company requested the provincial leaders to consider and guide the removal of these problems to soon complete the dossier and put the project into actual implementation.

Regarding this project, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to carefully review current legal regulations, guide Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee to complete land lease documents in November 2025, creating conditions for businesses to continue implementing the project in accordance with regulations. At the same time, he requested Thai Binh Tourism Company Limited to actively coordinate with departments, branches and localities, focus on completing related procedures and work as soon as possible, ensuring project progress.
