On the morning of November 7, Comrade Bui Van Luong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the working delegation inspected the progress of key projects of the province, including: Thai Nguyen Provincial Stadium; Sports Training and Competition Center; Sports Gifted High School and the connecting road from Bac Son Street to the provincial sports complex.

Thai Nguyen Stadium has a planned area of ​​over 15 hectares, a capacity of 22,000 seats, is the largest stadium in the midlands and mountainous areas of the North. The project is designed in a modern way, meeting the standards for organizing national and international tournaments.

Up to now, the items of Thai Nguyen Stadium Project have been basically completed, ready to organize the inauguration ceremony and Tu Hung - Thai Nguyen Football Tournament as planned.

The Sports Training and Competition Center and Sports Gifted High School project is being implemented on an area of ​​6.3 hectares, starting construction in June 2025, and expected to be completed and put into use in November 2026.

Meanwhile, the route connecting Bac Son Road to Thai Nguyen Provincial Sports Complex starts at Km0+00, intersecting with Bac Son extended road (Quyet Thang ward), and ends at Km2+710, the intersection in front of Thai Nguyen Stadium and Provincial Road 267 (Dai Phuc commune). This is a key project, contributing to the completion of the traffic infrastructure system, promoting economic , cultural and sports development and opening up new opportunities for the western region of the province.

During the inspection program, construction units and authorities of Dai Phuc commune and Quyet Thang ward reported on construction progress, pointed out some difficulties and problems related to site clearance, resettlement arrangement and proposed solutions.

During the field inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Luong requested the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works to urgently complete the remaining work, ensuring the quality, technique, aesthetics and overall space of Thai Nguyen Stadium. At the same time, closely coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to complete the plan, diagram and related items to organize the Four Heroes Football Tournament as planned.

Regarding the project of the road connecting Bac Son Street to the Sports Complex and the Sports Training and Competition Center Project with the Sports Gifted High School, there are currently problems with site clearance. Comrade Bui Van Luong assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to closely coordinate with the investor, local authorities and relevant agencies to speed up the statistics, counting, and timely, correct and complete payment to the people.
