Agribank and National Economics University signed a cooperation agreement to develop high-quality human resources.

On the afternoon of November 6, 2025, at its headquarters, Agribank and the National Economics University (NEU) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening the relationship built over more than 20 years, jointly working towards the goal of developing high-quality human resources, contributing to improving the operational efficiency and reputation of both sides in the new era, and making a positive contribution to the socio-economic development of the country.

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of the National Economics University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - Director; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu - Vice Director; Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - Chairman of the Science & Training Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Chairman of the Advisory Council; along with representatives of the leadership of the Departments, Institutes, Centers, and Schools of the National Economics University.

Representing Agribank were Mr. To Huy Vu - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Pham Toan Vuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director; Mr. Le Xuan Trung - Member of the Board of Directors; Deputy General Directors, Chief Accountant, Director of the Cadre Training School; leaders of the Head Office's Departments/Centers; and leaders of ABIC and Agribank Hoang Mai Branch.

The National Economics University (NEU) is one of the leading universities in Vietnam, specializing in research, management, economics, business administration, marketing, finance, and related fields. With its educational philosophy of "Creating a smart path, enabling each individual to become the best version of themselves and contribute value to the community," for nearly 70 years, NEU has been a reputable institution providing high-quality human resources to the banking sector and society. Its influential research, consulting services, and community service activities in economics, business, and management have significantly contributed to Vietnam's socio-economic development. The National Economics University currently has approximately 2,000 staff members (lecturers and employees), and trains about 45,000 students and trainees annually across various training programs, with 3 affiliated schools and 19 specialized faculties offering 45 majors…

The National Economics University and Agribank established a relationship in 2004, and over the past 20 years, have achieved positive results. Currently, in the context of the banking industry undergoing a strong transformation towards digitalization and international integration, strengthening comprehensive cooperation between Agribank and the National Economics University is essential, bringing mutual benefits and creating a foundation for a comprehensive and sustainable partnership, contributing to improving the operational efficiency and reputation of both sides in the new era. This cooperation will help Agribank closely link training, research, and banking practice; facilitate access to high-quality human resources; and enhance its brand image within the academic community and among students. For the National Economics University, the cooperation agreement opens opportunities to strengthen business ties, support students in practical training, internships, and employment, and promote applied research in the banking sector, digital transformation, and sustainable development.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. To Huy Vu, Chairman of the Board of Members of Agribank, emphasized: This event is not only a milestone in cooperation between a national financial institution and a prestigious university, but also a symbol of the spirit of "state-owned enterprises accompanying national education," working together towards the comprehensive development of Vietnamese people, for a knowledge-based, sustainable, and humane economy.

Both sides aim towards the goal of training and developing high-quality human resources in banking and finance, strengthening the link between theory and practice, and between the university and businesses. Through this cooperation, the National Economics University will accompany Agribank in training and developing staff, research, and policy consulting on finance and banking; while Agribank will create conditions for the University's students to access professional practice, hone their skills, develop their creative abilities, and cooperate with the University in many communication programs, social responsibility, and digital transformation. This is the "School - State - Enterprise" tripartite cooperation model - a strategic direction that the National Economics University is strongly implementing to disseminate knowledge, promote innovation, and contribute to the sustainable development of the country.
