
According to statistics, by 7 a.m. on November 7, the entire Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) recorded 427 medium-voltage power incidents due to the storm's impact, of which 53 have been restored, and 374 are still being handled. The total number of customers without power is 1,603,637, of which 315,016 have been restored, leaving 1,288,612 customers. The total number of distribution transformer stations without power is 18,722, of which 3,674 have been restored, leaving 15,048 stations with an estimated lost capacity of 655 MW, equivalent to 17.2% of the maximum capacity of the entire system (Pmax = 3,803 MW).
On the 110kV grid, 31 incidents occurred causing power outages at many transformer stations. In Gia Lai (PC Gia Lai), 13/30 stations were affected, including Quy Nhon, Long My, Van Canh, Nhon Hoi, Phuoc Son, Dong Da, Quy Nhon Port, Nhon Tan, Tay Son, Don Pho, An Khe, K'Bang, Krong Pa. In Phu Yen (PC Dak Lak), 4/26 stations were affected, including Tuy An, Song Cau, Song Cau 2, Dong Xuan.
Immediately after the storm weakened, EVNCPC directed its affiliated Power Companies to mobilize all shock forces, coordinate with local authorities, focus on troubleshooting, isolate damaged points and restore power to priority loads such as hospitals, disaster prevention command agencies, communications, domestic water supply, etc. The Corporation said it is continuing to mobilize human resources and materials from less affected areas to support heavily damaged areas, striving to restore power supply as soon as possible, ensuring absolute safety for people and equipment.
