Held since 2016, this award ceremony marks 10 years of spreading the spirit of the French language and inspiring youth creativity.
The contest is sponsored by VNA, the Asia- Pacific Regional Office of the International Organization of Francophonie (REPAP-OIF), the Group of Embassies, Delegations and Francophone Organizations in Vietnam, and associations, businesses and universities.

Ms. Nguyen Hong Nga, Editor-in-Chief of Le Courrier du Vietnam, said that with the theme “Learning and Acting”, which is also the theme of International Francophonie Day (March 20) this year, the contest recorded a record number of 155 entries from 236 contestants, coming from all three regions of the North, Central and South of the country and many French-speaking countries. This diversity demonstrates the strong influence of the French language and the Francophone spirit in the global youth community.

This year's entries show diversity in topics, depth of thinking and maturity in expression with many topics that have a great impact on society such as environment, culture, technology, education and global citizenship. The works vividly depict the role of education in forming responsible citizens, evoking humanistic values, the spirit of learning and action for the community. The final jury highly appreciated the quality of this year's final entries in terms of topics, language, writing structure, as well as illustrations...
“I highly appreciate the quality of the entries this year, as well as the last two years, which have been very impressive. And once again, you made the selection of the jury extremely difficult, to the point that we are considering adjusting the evaluation scale. We have also decided to add some awards to properly recognize the efforts and talents of the contestants,” emphasized Mr. Pierre Du Ville, President of GADIF, Head of the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam.

At the award ceremony, in addition to the First Prize awarded to two contestants from Hanoi Foreign Trade University, the contest organizers awarded the Second Prize to contestants Nguyen Thi Khanh Huyen and Phung Dieu Linh (University of Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University, Hanoi) with the work: "TỌAˮ: Des jeunes qui rayonnent avec les minorités ethniques (TỌA: Youth shines with ethnic minorities); the Third Prize, which is also the prize of the French Embassy, was awarded to Nguyen Ngoc Thao Phuong, Vu Thai Hoang, Pham Nguyen Khanh Hoa (Hanoi University) with the work "L'éducation: Une clé d'avenir pour les femmes d'âge mûr (Education: The key to the future for middle-aged women).

In addition, the organizing committee also awarded two consolation prizes, the prize of the President of the Group of Ambassadors, Delegations and Francophone Organizations in Hanoi, the prize of the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH), the prize of the Embassy of Morocco, the prize for impressive contestants, the prize of the Francophone University Organization - AUF and the prize of Phenikaa University for other outstanding works.
