Major Nguyen Khanh Toan, the squad leader of the maintenance squad, said: "In carrying out the assigned tasks, under the guidance of the Company commander and the Ordnance Department, Logistics and Technical Department of the Provincial Military Command, the entire squad focused on maintaining and performing minor repairs on various types of infantry weapons, organizing storage, and arranging weapons according to regulations."

The warehouse keeper's workplace is equipped with tracking charts, record books, and complete statistics. In addition, to improve the quality and efficiency of maintenance work, the squad members actively research and innovate, applying technical improvements to the maintenance and repair of weapons and equipment.

Through the introduction of Squad Leader Nguyen Khanh Toan, I met Major Bui Van Nghia, the weapons storekeeper and the "innovative leader" of the Technical Warehouse Company. Major Nghia graduated from the Military Equipment Technical College, General Department of Engineering in 2008, was assigned to the Technical Warehouse Company, and has been with the unit ever since.

I strictly adhere to the work regulations of a warehouse keeper and the regulations of the military weapons warehouse. Besides that, I also conduct research and innovation, completing many technical improvement initiatives that have been put into practice," shared warehouse keeper Bui Van Nghia. "Besides Comrade Nghia in the Maintenance Squad, the Technical Warehouse Company has many innovative ideas that have been put into practice. These include: a device for preserving the aiming and directional locking mechanism of the 12.7mm machine gun; a device for removing projectiles from 14.5mm and 12.7mm machine guns; a device for repairing the locking pin of the sight for the 82mm mortar and 12.7mm machine gun... These applied innovations have contributed to helping the company improve the quality of technical work, standardize weapons and equipment; and ensure sufficient quantity and high quality of weapons and equipment for the provincial armed forces units to train, exercise, and be ready for combat," said Major Dao Quang Luc, Company Commander of the Technical Warehouse Company.

The device for extracting 14.5mm and 12.7mm machine gun bullets has been put into application.

From 2022 to the present, the Technical Warehouse Company has consistently excelled in fulfilling its central political tasks and unexpected assignments. Specifically, it has effectively advised the Party Committee and the Head of the Logistics and Technical Department, and comprehensively implemented the management, maintenance, and standardization of weapons and equipment for various missions, focusing on combat readiness, training, and defense zone exercises. The company participated in providing technical support for weapons and equipment during the defense zone exercises in Luc Yen district, Yen Bai province (formerly); exercises of Regiment 121; and competitions and sports events, ensuring absolute safety...

"This achievement is due to the Company's consistent education and guidance of its officers, staff, and soldiers, ensuring strict adherence to resolutions, directives, and instructions from higher authorities; adjusting and supplementing combat readiness plans; and being prepared to handle situations effectively, avoiding passivity and surprise. In the year-end political awareness test, 100% of the Company met the requirements, with 86% achieving good or excellent results."
