Conference on handover of work of Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission

Politburo members : Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister; Tran Cam Tu, Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat congratulated the two comrades on their new assignments and witnessed the handover.

Also attending the Conference were Party Central Committee members, leaders of the Central Inspection Commission , the Party Central Committee Office, the General Secretary's Office and the Hanoi Party Committee.

Speaking at the handover conference, comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, said that the handover content of the Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission will be carried out according to regulations right after this announcement.

He also said that his time working at the Central Inspection Commission had helped him get closer to the core issues of Party building and rectification and learn many profound things about inspection thinking in leadership; political thinking in supervision; and ethical thinking in discipline enforcement. "I feel very lucky to have been trained by the Party in a serious, disciplined, transparent and Party-oriented environment like the Central Inspection Commission," said Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc said that in recent times, in addition to performing regular tasks, the Central Inspection Commission has focused on thoroughly grasping and implementing many new instructions from the General Secretary and the Standing Member of the Secretariat on inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline. In particular, many new directives, including 03 core issues (Expanding the scope of supervision and shifting the focus to preventive supervision, early and remote warning of violations; Building the industry, building a team of inspection officers to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation; Promoting digital transformation in inspection and supervision). The Central Inspection Commission has focused, made efforts and strived to implement the above important instructions.

Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc appreciates the sentiments and spirit of dedicated, objective, honest, responsible and enthusiastic work of the leaders, cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Central Inspection Commission; appreciates the comradeship and brotherhood in the Commission and the Central Inspection Commission - where everyone strives to work with enthusiasm and the highest responsibility to the Party.

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, expressed his deep gratitude to the comrades in the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat for their trust in electing him to hold the important position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Commission.

He said that the Central Inspection Commission is the place where he had worked for a long time; now returning to work in a new position is both a great honor and a huge responsibility, requiring him to make efforts, be proactive, dedicated and devoted to completing the assigned tasks well.

Comrade Tran Sy Thanh affirmed that, in his position as Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, he will continue to promote his own experiences; together with the Standing Committee of the Commission, the Central Inspection Commission will preserve and continue to promote the achievements and results of the Party Inspection Sector over the periods; strictly abide by the principles of democratic centralism, working regulations, high solidarity and unity; lead and direct the comprehensive implementation of tasks on inspection, supervision and party discipline work according to the provisions of the Party Charter; successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat. In the immediate future, he will focus on leading and directing the good implementation of tasks serving the 14th National Congress of the Party; determined to work with the leadership of the Central Inspection Commission, cadres and civil servants of the Central Inspection Commission to build the Inspection Sector increasingly strong, worthy of being "a place where the Party places its trust to protect discipline; the people place their expectations to protect fairness".

Comrade Tran Sy Thanh hopes that in the coming time, he will continue to receive the attention, leadership, direction and help of the General Secretary; the Standing member of the Secretariat; the comrades in the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat; the support of the members of the Central Inspection Commission; the solidarity, responsibility and dedication of the cadres and civil servants of the Central Inspection Commission.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu stated that during his tenure as Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc was extremely dedicated and responsible, making very important contributions to innovating the Party's inspection and supervision methods and approaches, creating outstanding marks in the Party's inspection and supervision work in the recent period. Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu wished Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc many successes in his new position in leading the capital Hanoi to become more and more prosperous.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu emphasized that over the years, the Inspection sector, the Inspection Commission, and the Central Inspection Commission have always received close attention, leadership, and direction from the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the General Secretary, along with their efforts to unite and overcome all difficulties and challenges and complete a huge amount of work, which has been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party and the State, and welcomed and supported by Party members and the people. The image and prestige of the inspection sector, the Inspection Commission, and the Central Inspection Commission have been increasingly enhanced, and the staff and civil servants have been trained and matured. These are the results of the efforts, intelligence, enthusiasm, and dedication to the common work of the Commission and the staff of the Central Inspection Commission.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu believes that with his high responsibility and extensive experience in the working process, Comrade Tran Sy Thanh will quickly approach and take over the work, together with the collective Committee, the Central Inspection Commission will continue to promote tradition, solidarity, unity, courage, will, and determination to excellently complete all assigned tasks and achieve higher results in the coming time.
