1. Activities to display, introduce and promote unique Vietnamese products at the Black Horse Cold Chain Fruit Distribution Center, Dezhou City
On November 2, the opening ceremony of the program to promote Vietnamese specialties was held at the Black Horse Cold Chain Fruit Product Distribution Center, Dezhou City, Shandong. Attending the opening ceremony, on the Vietnamese side were the leaders of the Department of Foreign Market Development, the Vietnamese Trade Counselor in China, the Vietnamese Trade Consulate in Guangzhou, leaders of departments, branches and sectors of Bac Ninh , Nghe An, Khanh Hoa provinces and 50 representatives from 32 typical enterprises of Vietnam; on the Chinese side were the leaders of the Shandong Provincial Committee for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), leaders and former leaders of Dezhou City, representatives of relevant departments, branches and sectors of the city, leaders of the Black Horse Group and many consumers of Shandong Province.
At the program, 21 booths with unique products representing many regions of Vietnam attracted the attention and attention of many local people. The products on display were extremely diverse, from tropical fruits such as grapefruit, durian, dragon fruit, banana... to coffee, cashew nuts, bird's nest and many other deeply processed products. Each product is a story of hard work, the crystallization of Vietnamese culture and flavor. Through these products, businesses wish to send Chinese consumers a friendly, sincere greeting, along with an invitation to explore a dynamic, open Vietnam with rich potential for cooperation.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. To Ngoc Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Market Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade, said that Vietnam and China are two close neighbors, with increasingly deep and extensive economic and trade cooperation. However, the presence of Vietnamese products in the market of Dezhou in particular and Shandong in general seems to be modest, many world-famous Vietnamese products are still unknown to the business community and local people. Therefore, this direct promotion and connection activity is not only a simple trade promotion activity, but also a bridge of friendship, bringing Vietnamese products, culture and people closer to the people of Dezhou, Shandong and tourists from all over the world. At the same time, it is expected to create many new cooperation opportunities, contributing to bringing Vietnamese products closer to Chinese consumers and spreading Vietnamese values in the international market.
Vice President of CCPIT Shandong Xia Zhongjun and Vice Mayor of Dezhou City Tran Hai Minh spoke at the Opening Ceremony and highly appreciated the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade for organizing a delegation consisting of many representatives from central to local agencies and representatives of enterprises in various fields to Dezhou, Shandong to organize the activity. The Chinese leaders expressed their hope that through this activity, the two sides would continue to further strengthen trust and cooperation aspirations, thereby creating a playground for the two sides to promote economic and trade exchanges, bringing practical benefits to the business communities of the two countries.
Liu Huy Dong, Executive Chairman and General Director of Shandong Heimat Group, spoke at the opening ceremony and said that Shandong Heimat Group, with its geographical advantage and the capacity of the Heimat smart cold chain fruit distribution center, strives to build a "Vietnam agricultural product collection and distribution center in Shandong Heimat." Mr. Liu Huy Dong expressed that Heimat Group is ready to cooperate extensively with reliable partners from Vietnam, together creating a sustainable supply chain of high-quality agricultural products, making a positive contribution to the cooperation between Vietnam and China.
Also at the opening ceremony, Mr. To Ngoc Son and Mr. Tran Hai Minh, Deputy Mayor of Duc Chau city, inaugurated the Center for gathering and distributing Vietnamese fruit products in Hac Ma, Duc Chau, Shandong.
After the Opening Ceremony, the delegation visited the booth and enjoyed special Vietnamese products.
Before the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Hai Minh, Deputy Mayor of Duc Chau city, met with the delegation, introduced the socio-economic situation of Duc Chau city and appreciated the organization of the delegation to Duc Chau by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, wishing to periodically organize these trade promotion activities so that the two sides could understand each other better, bringing the cooperation between the two sides to a new level. Expressing his thanks to Duc Chau for their thoughtful and respectful reception and active support in organizing the activities, Mr. To Ngoc Son emphasized that this activity is a practical step to expand the export market for high-quality agricultural products of Vietnam, bringing Vietnamese specialties one step closer to Chinese consumers.
2. Vietnam - China Trade and Investment Promotion Conference (Dezhou)
On the afternoon of November 3, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Department of Foreign Market Development), the People's Government of Dezhou City, Shandong Province and the Shandong Provincial Committee for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), China jointly organized the Vietnam - China (Dezhou) Trade and Investment Promotion Conference, attracting a large number of businesses from both countries to attend and connect trade.
Attending the Conference, on the Vietnamese side were the Leaders of the Foreign Market Development Department, the Vietnamese Trade Counselor in China, the Vietnamese Trade Consulate in Guangzhou, the Leaders of the Departments, branches and sectors of Bac Ninh, Nghe An, Khanh Hoa provinces and 50 representatives from 32 typical Vietnamese enterprises in the fields of production, trade and industrial parks; on the Chinese side were the Leaders of Shandong CCPIT, the Leaders of Dezhou city, representatives of relevant departments, branches and sectors of the city and 65 representatives from 59 Chinese enterprises operating in the fields of agricultural products, processed food, logistics, supply chain, construction, complex materials...
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. To Ngoc Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Market Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade, said that after the visit of Shandong Provincial Party Secretary Lam Vu to Vietnam, when mentioning Shandong province, Vietnamese enterprises showed their interest and responded very positively. This is a positive signal, showing that the regular exchange activities, visits and delegation exchanges between the two sides' authorities have created strong and clear impacts, contributing to promoting trust and expanding cooperation opportunities between the Vietnamese and Shandong (Dezhou) business communities. The representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasized that today's Conference is not only a playground, but also a launching pad for practical and long-term cooperation projects, a direct bridge between businesses and localities of the two countries. The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade always welcomes and is ready to create favorable conditions for Chinese enterprises - including those from Dezhou and Shandong - to strengthen cooperation, expand trade, investment and sustainable development in Vietnam. He expressed his hope that, based on the existing cooperation foundation and the support of the two governments, Vietnamese and Shandong (Dezhou) enterprises will proactively connect and realize cooperation ideas into specific projects, contributing to bringing the Vietnam - China economic and trade relations to a new level, more substantial and effective.
Vice President of Shandong Province CCPIT Xia Zhongjun spoke at the Conference and assessed that the cooperation and exchange between Shandong and Vietnamese localities in recent times has been increasingly in-depth, achieving many substantial results. He said that Shandong CCPIT is the specialized agency of Shandong Province for trade, investment and industry promotion, and is also the focal point on the Chinese side in cooperation between the Shandong Provincial Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam. In 2026, Shandong CCPIT will host the "Shandong Dialogue" program - a trade connection conference towards the Vietnamese market, hoping to receive the response and active participation of the Vietnamese business community.
Standing Member of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the United Front of Dezhou City Truong Chi Hoa, on behalf of the City Party Committee and the City Government, sent warm congratulations to the Conference. Mr. Truong Chi Hoa introduced in detail about Dezhou City, saying that Dezhou has a complete system in the field of modern agriculture and food processing, and has outstanding advantages in agricultural product circulation and cold chain logistics, which are favorable conditions for building an increasingly close and sustainable economic and trade cooperation relationship with Vietnam. He emphasized that Dezhou will always maintain an open spirit, practical actions and high-quality services to ensure and effectively support the cooperation between domestic and foreign enterprises, and strive to promote economic and trade exchanges between the two sides to go deeper and deeper, achieving substantial results.
Within the framework of the conference, representatives of enterprises of the two countries had networking sessions, direct exchanges, product introductions, and sought cooperation opportunities in the fields of production, consumption, agricultural products, food, and industrial park real estate. Many Vietnamese manufacturing and trading enterprises introduced typical products with export potential to Chinese importers and received great attention, opening up opportunities for high-quality Vietnamese products to penetrate deeper into the Chinese domestic market. In addition, enterprises in the field of industrial park real estate in Vietnam also actively introduced to Chinese investors about the favorable business environment, investment incentives, and synchronous infrastructure system, in order to call for more Chinese enterprises with advanced and environmentally friendly technology to invest, produce, and build factories in Vietnam, contributing to the modernization and industrialization of Vietnam.
Notably, at the Conference, 04 important business cooperation agreements were signed between businesses of both sides, opening up prospects for long-term cooperation in areas such as trade, investment and logistics, specifically including: Cooperation agreement on durian trade between Song Nam International Trade Development Company Limited and Chung Bang Duc Chau Fruit Company; Cooperation agreement on fresh banana trade between Banana Brothers Farm Joint Stock Company and Phuc Lai Chuoi Duc Chau Company; Cooperation agreement on fresh fruit trade between Song Nam International Trade Development Company Limited and Xuong Hanh Ham Duc Van Nam Fruit Company; Cooperation agreement between Bao Minh Infrastructure Investment Development Joint Stock Company and Hoi Vu Beijing Import-Export Trading Company.
Also within the framework of the Conference, representatives from Bac Ninh and Nghe An provinces shared about the investment and business environment in their localities, attracting the interest and attention of many Chinese enterprises.
The conference ended in a sincere, cooperative, open and effective atmosphere, opening up new prospects in trade and investment relations between Vietnamese enterprises and Dezhou city, Shandong province in particular, as well as between Vietnam and China in general.
3. Shandong Provincial leaders met with the working delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade
On the morning of November 3, 2025, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Shandong Province, Lin Fenghai, met with the working delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Attending the meeting, on the Vietnamese side were the leaders of the Department of Foreign Market Development (head of the working delegation), the Vietnamese Trade Counselor in China, representatives of departments, branches and sectors of Bac Ninh province and Nghe An province. On the Chinese side, there were the Secretary of the Dezhou City Party Committee, the Mayor of Dezhou City, Vice Chairman of Shandong CCPIT and representatives of relevant departments and branches of Dezhou City.
Vice President Lam Phong Hai reviewed the economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Shandong, saying that Shandong recently organized a delegation of 150 enterprises to Vietnam to attend the Autumn Fair hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. This time, the Vietnamese delegation to Shandong included nearly 80 representatives from various fields, demonstrating the close exchange relationship between the two sides. On that basis, Vice President Lam Phong Hai made 3 proposals to further strengthen the good cooperative relationship between the two sides, including: (i) Strengthening people-to-people exchanges at all levels; (ii) Actively implementing the Memorandum of Understanding and List of Key Tasks between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Shandong Provincial Government, requesting the Ministry of Industry and Trade to include the organization of a delegation to attend the Shandong Dialogue 2026 in the work program next year; (iii) Strengthen cooperation in key areas, build supply chain connections, high-quality production chains, especially in six key industries such as textiles, mechanics, automobiles, electronics, high technology, and new technology.
Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Market Development To Ngoc Son thanked Comrade Lam Phong Hai for taking the time to welcome the delegation and expressed his full agreement with the contents that Vice Chairman Lam Phong Hai had just mentioned. Mr. To Ngoc Son said that the Vietnam - China relationship is entering the "second golden period" after the "first golden period" established by President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong. In that context, the cooperative relationship between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the People's Government of Shandong Province is also on an unprecedented good development path. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam is ready to continue to coordinate with the People's Government of Shandong Province to actively implement the cooperation contents stated in the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two sides in 2024 and the List of key tasks recently agreed upon by the two sides, making a positive contribution to the friendly relationship between Vietnam and China.
In addition, within the framework of the program, the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized a business delegation to visit and survey enterprises representing the food processing level of Duc Chau such as Vinh Thinh Trai Stewed Chicken Company, ODDMAN Wine Company and survey the Trung Nguyen Innovation and Creativity Center, Duc Chau City, Shandong Province, China./.
