Comrade Tran Sy Thanh was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission.

(CPV) – On November 5, at the 14th meeting of the 13th Central Executive Committee, comrade Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee was elected to join the Central Inspection Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee.

Comrade Tran Sy Thanh was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission at the 14th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.

Comrade Tran Sy Thanh was born in 1971, hometown Nghe An province, has a master's degree in Economics , bachelor's degree in Finance. He is an alternate member of the 11th Party Central Committee; member of the 12th and 13th Party Central Committee; National Assembly delegate of the 14th and 15th terms.

Comrade Tran Sy Thanh has held the following positions: Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee; Member of the Central Inspection Commission; Secretary of Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission; Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

At the end of 2017, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, concurrently Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group. In August 2020, he was transferred and assigned by the Politburo to be Deputy Head of the Office of the National Assembly. From April 2021 to July 2022, he held the position of State Auditor General. From July 2022 to present, he has held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee./.
