| The railway industry is urgently working to fix the landslide. |
The construction units set up temporary camps on both sides of the landslide, organized work in three shifts and four teams, and remained at the site to work continuously 24 hours a day.
Undeterred by the challenging terrain, the construction teams are working day and night with the highest determination to reopen the railway line as soon as possible, ensuring the restoration of traffic and the transportation of goods and passengers through the area.

At the site, the atmosphere was one of urgency and haste. To facilitate the remediation work, the contractor promptly opened a service road connecting National Highway 19C to the landslide area, creating favorable conditions for trucks to transport materials.
Simultaneously , trains carrying rocks and technical materials were arranged to run to both ends of the landslide, shortening the supply time and accelerating the construction progress. Topographic surveys and measurements continued to be carried out in parallel to adjust the solutions accordingly, ensuring both technical soundness and safety for the construction workforce in the complex geological conditions.

By the afternoon of November 8th, many important items had been implemented, such as: the temporary bridge abutments were being reinforced with concrete, and the steel pillars and beams were being prepared for erection. Workers continued to work in shifts throughout the night, ensuring the project progressed according to schedule.
"The tracks are slippery, but everyone is encouraging each other to do their best. We just hope the tracks will be restored soon so that trains can run again and passengers won't be affected," shared Nguyen Minh Thu, a worker involved in the construction here.

According to the Vietnam Railways Corporation, the construction plan is divided into two phases. Currently, the construction unit is carrying out the first phase of traffic management with solutions such as: building a temporary bridge with two abutments, two piers, and three steel girder spans, ensuring that trains can pass through the landslide area at a limited speed of approximately 5 km/h.
After the road is opened, step 2 will be implemented with the construction of permanent structures and reinforcement of the roadbed to ensure long-term safety.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vuong, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation, provided information on the construction plan for the landslide site on the railway line through Xuan Lanh commune.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vuong, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation, representing the investor, said: “We consider this an urgent task, directly affecting national transportation. The railway industry is mobilizing human and material resources, working day and night. The goal is to complete the construction of the temporary bridge and reopen the line by November 10th, with train speeds reaching 5km/h through the landslide area.”
After the line is reopened, the railway sector will continue with permanent construction work to ensure long-term safety and stability. Alongside the repair work at the landslide site, the railway sector is also mobilizing vehicles to transport passengers between stations.
