Ha Tinh: Taking biological samples to identify fallen soldiers.

On May 30th, the Steering Committee for the Search, Collection, and Identification of the Remains of Martyrs (Steering Committee 515) of Ha Tinh province organized the collection of biological samples from the remains of unidentified martyrs at Can Loc Martyrs Cemetery (Can Loc commune) to serve the DNA testing process.

Before the biological sample collection began, the organizers respectfully held a ceremony of laying flowers and incense, and observed a moment of silence to remember and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The Steering Committee 515 of Ha Tinh province collected samples from 37 graves of unidentified martyrs at Can Loc Martyrs' Cemetery; simultaneously, they digitized records, stored samples at the province's medical facility, and handed them over to the relevant unit for DNA testing; gradually identifying the martyrs whose identities are still unknown.

According to the plan, excavation and sample collection will be carried out from May 30th to June 2nd. The samples are expected to be handed over to the expert on June 3rd.
