300 years of childhood and faith in tomorrow.

For over 3 years and 8 months, the "Godmother - Connecting with Love" program has been a pillar of support for 300 children in extremely difficult circumstances in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. Each child has a different situation, but they all share the hope of continuing their education and growing up.

On October 16, 2022, in the former Nam Dan district, 37 orphaned children with particularly difficult circumstances received support and care from Hoang Gia Phat Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company within the framework of the "Godmother - Connecting Love" program.

Perhaps at that time, few could have imagined that from the initial 37 cases, a journey of compassion would be sustained for more than 3 years and 8 months, so that by this year's International Children's Day on June 1st, the number of children receiving regular support in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces had reached 300.

Behind the number 300 are 300 different circumstances, each with its own story of loss, hardship, and resilience in life. Among them are children who lost their father or mother at a young age, some who are orphaned, some who are battling illness, or some who grew up under the care of grandparents in their seventies or eighties.

Many of these children live in disadvantaged coastal areas, while a significant number are studying in remote mountainous regions where living conditions and access to education are limited. However, they all share a simple desire: to continue attending school, to grow up surrounded by love, and to have the opportunity to build a better future.

Hoang Gia Phat Group has sponsored dozens and hundreds of disadvantaged individuals.

To reach these needy individuals, over the past three years, Hoang Gia Phat Group's staff and working groups have traveled thousands of kilometers across Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. From coastal communes like Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, and Nghi Loc to Thien Cam and Thach Hai, and even remote mountainous areas like Muong Long and Huong Khe, each trip involved on-site surveys, verification of circumstances, and the development of long-term support plans.

There are journeys undertaken in the scorching heat of summer, the torrential rain and biting winds of winter; there are long, arduous routes that require traversing many mountain passes; and there are circumstances that leave those directly involved in the surveys deeply troubled by difficulties beyond ordinary imagination.

The smiles on the faces of the sponsored children from disadvantaged backgrounds give them extra motivation to strive and study.

However, what leaves the most lasting impression after each trip is not just the stories of adversity, but also the strong will to live of the children and the enduring love of their families who are protecting them every day.

These are images of elderly grandparents raising their grandchildren in place of their children, single mothers carefully saving every penny so their children can continue their education, and children who still hold onto their faith and aspirations for learning despite the many hardships in their lives.

Throughout this journey, Hoang Gia Phat Group has consistently maintained its support for disadvantaged children, with total funding reaching billions of VND each year. However, the greatest value of the program lies not only in material support but also in creating a spiritual anchor, helping children gain more motivation to study, train, and become more confident on their journey to adulthood.

The achievements over the past period are the result of the joint efforts of many agencies, organizations, and individuals in the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh. From the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, the Vietnam Women's Union, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the People's Committees and Party Committees of localities, to philanthropists and those who silently connect, all have contributed to identifying, surveying, and providing timely support to those in difficult circumstances, creating an increasingly widespread network of love and connection.

On this year's International Children's Day, the milestone of supporting 300 children on a regular basis not only reflects the results of a sustained social welfare program but also demonstrates the widespread impact of community responsibility towards future generations. Because each child today will be a small family tomorrow; each opportunity given today can create positive changes in a life in the future.
