On June 1st, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police announced that they are currently handling 58 cases of traffic safety violations after reviewing and verifying a video clip showing many teenagers driving motorbikes and running red lights in the area.
Previously, a video clip appeared on social media showing many teenagers riding motorbikes and gathering at the intersection of 72m Road and Le Nin Road in Vinh Phu Ward, Nghe An Province.
According to the video, many teenagers riding motorbikes simultaneously ran red lights and stopped in the middle of the intersection, posing a potential risk of accidents.
Upon receiving the information, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police reviewed the traffic surveillance camera system to verify the violations. According to the verification results, the incident occurred at approximately 2:00 AM on May 31st.
Authorities have issued violation notices to 58 individuals, including 52 cases of running red lights, 5 cases of not wearing helmets, and 1 case of carrying three people without helmets.

According to the police, as summer vacation approaches, there is a noticeable increase in the number of teenagers gathering at night, driving vehicles without proper permits, reckless driving, and violating traffic regulations, posing numerous risks to traffic safety and public order.
