City Border Guards visit and support family of soldier whose house collapsed due to landslide

DNO - On November 7, Colonel Hoang Van Man, Political Commissar of the Da Nang City Border Guard Command, visited and encouraged the family of Lieutenant Zo Ram Hieu, Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Team, Binh Minh Border Guard Station, whose relative is being treated at Quang Nam General Hospital after a landslide caused the family's house to completely collapse.

Colonel Hoang Van Man presented 50 million VND to support the construction of a “Comrades House” for the family of soldier Zo Ram Hieu. The amount was mobilized by the City Border Guard from Kien Giang 68 Construction Investment and Trade Joint Stock Company. In addition, the City Border Guard Command also supported 10 million VND to help the family overcome the damage caused by floods.

Previously, on October 30, a landslide in village 3, Tra Giap commune buried and completely collapsed the house of Lieutenant Zo Ram Hieu's family (estimated at 600 million VND). In the house were Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Hue (mother-in-law) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Hao (Mr. Hieu's wife). Local people promptly rescued the two victims. Mrs. Hue is currently being treated at Quang Nam General Hospital, Ms. Hao is being treated at Tra Giap Commune Health Station.

Immediately after the incident, Binh Minh Border Guard Station promptly visited, encouraged and supported Lieutenant Zo Ram Hieu's family with 10 million VND.
