According to Notice No. 8228/TB-SXD dated November 6, 2025, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City announced the receipt of applications for social housing rental at Vu Mong Nguyen apartment building (phase 2).
Vu Mong Nguyen apartment project has a scale of 1 apartment building with 12 floors, 1 basement, and 1 attic. The apartment building has 209 apartments; areas include: 65m², 67.8m², 68.6m², 77m².
The rental price of social housing (excluding the floor coefficient) is 57,822 VND/m²/month. The price of management and operation services is 5,169 VND/m²/month. The policy of exemption and reduction of rental fees for social housing belonging to public assets: implemented according to the provisions of Article 36 of Decree No. 100/2024/ND-CP dated July 26, 2024 of the Government .
Who is eligible to rent social housing at Vu Mong Nguyen apartment building?
According to the Department of Construction, the subjects eligible to rent social housing include: revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945; revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to the August 1945 uprising; Vietnamese heroic mothers; People's Armed Forces heroes; Labor heroes during the resistance war; war invalids, including type B war invalids recognized before December 31, 1993; people enjoying policies like war invalids; sick soldiers.
Along with that are resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals; revolutionaries, resistance fighters, people who defend the Fatherland, and people who perform international duties who are imprisoned or exiled by the enemy; people who participate in resistance wars to liberate the nation, protect the Fatherland, and perform international duties; people who have contributed to the revolution; relatives of martyrs (biological father, biological mother, wife or husband, biological children, adopted children, people who have contributed to raising martyrs).
On July 26, 2025, the People's Committee of Da Nang City handed over the decision to arrange social housing rental (phase 1) at Vu Mong Nguyen apartment building on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025) to 92 households with meritorious services.
Conditions for renting social housing are determined in Da Nang city, including Da Nang city and Quang Nam province (before merger).
Specifically, people who have registered permanent residence in Da Nang city for 5 years or more up to the time of submitting the application for rental registration; have not purchased, rented, or lease-purchased social housing in Da Nang city; have not enjoyed housing and land support policies in any form in Da Nang city.
People who do not have a house or land use rights in Da Nang city; in case of having a house but having transferred or donated it, the case will only be resolved if it has been transferred or donated for at least 3 years from the date of submitting the application for rental registration.
The time to receive applications for social housing rental is from November 10 to December 10, 2025. Receive applications at the Department of Construction's Reception and Results Team (Da Nang City Administrative Center, No. 24 Tran Phu Street, Hai Chau Ward).
