In An Hai ward, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has just coordinated with local businesses, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tra Linh commune to organize a gift-giving trip to support people in difficulty after the flood.
Mr. Duong Thanh Ha, Vice Chairman of An Hai Ward People's Committee, said that the delegation presented 350 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, including blankets, warm clothes, rice and other necessities. In addition, the delegation also donated noodles, nutritional powder and 150 300W solar headlights to kindergartens, primary schools and villages in Tra Linh commune.
“Although the gifts are not large in material value, they contain the hearts and feelings of sharing from the officials, people and businesses of An Hai ward, with the wish to help people soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives,” Mr. Ha shared.
This activity is part of the twinning, cooperation and support program between An Hai ward and Tra Linh commune, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and responsibility between urban and mountainous areas, between sworn friends who always turn to each other in times of trouble.

Not only in An Hai ward, the spirit of sharing is also strongly spread in Hai Chau ward. In the face of heavy damage caused by prolonged floods in many localities, including Hung Son commune, a sister unit of Hai Chau ward, the ward People's Committee visited and encouraged the authorities and people of Hung Son commune.
Ms. Cao Thi Huyen Tran, Secretary of the Hai Chau Ward Party Committee, shared: “We sympathize and share the losses that the people of Hung Son commune have suffered. With the spirit of mutual love and support for the people in the flood-affected areas, the local government launched a donation movement among officials, party members, agencies, units and people in the area. From this movement, Hai Chau Ward has mobilized 100 million VND, equivalent to 100 cash gifts, to send to support households that suffered heavy damage due to the storm.”
In the coming time, the ward will continue to call for more social resources, philanthropists, and businesses to join hands to help Hung Son commune overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize life and restore production.
According to Mr. Dinh Vui, Chairman of Son Tra Ward People's Committee, the Ward People's Committee coordinated with Navy Region 3 to establish a working group to Tra Leng commune, handing over more than 5 tons of goods to support people in flood-affected areas.
The goods include milk, cakes, instant noodles, eggs, dried fish, medical supplies and many other necessities.
This is the first phase in the mass mobilization plan of the Ward Party Committee to support Tra Leng commune and other communes affected by floods. Thereby contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 02-NQ/TU dated July 29, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee on the policy of twinning between wards and communes in the city.
Mr. Dinh Vui said that the gifts and the charity trips not only brought material support but also conveyed deep affection between localities. The relationship between wards and communes not only helped each other during natural disasters but also served as a bridge to share experiences in building the government, developing the economy , and improving people's lives. This is the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and overcoming difficulties together to build a more sustainable life.
