An Giang Provincial Police and philanthropists presented gifts to support people in storm and flood-affected areas in Hue City.

On November 6 and 7, a working group from An Giang Provincial Police in coordination with philanthropists went directly to Hue City to present 500 million VND in cash and 2,000 gifts, contributing to supporting people severely affected by storms and floods in the Central region.

The Youth Union of An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with philanthropists to go directly to Hue City to give gifts to people affected by storms and floods .

The delegation went directly to Phu Loc and Phu Ho communes and Hoa Chau ward ( Hue city) to give 500 million VND in cash (equivalent to 1,000 support packages) and 1,000 gifts to people in difficulty. Each gift included: Rice, instant noodles, milk, soy sauce, western medicine... The remaining gifts were handed over to the police of the wards and communes to continue distributing and handing them to affected households.

This is the amount of money and goods included in the program "Accompanying people, workers, and youth in flood-affected areas" implemented by An Giang Provincial Police in coordination with philanthropists, starting from An Giang from November 1, 2025, to support the Central provinces affected by natural disasters.

During this time, the An Giang Provincial Police mobilized a 45-ton truck to transport relief goods, including: 15 tons of rice, 4,500 boxes of instant noodles and canned food, 10,000 notebooks for students, and many other essential necessities contributed by benefactors. The total value of the goods is estimated at about 1 billion VND, including 500 million VND in cash.
