
House roofs blown off after tornado
In Long Phung commune , in the early morning of November 7, more than 50 officers and soldiers of the provincial Military Command's assault team coordinated with local forces to urgently clean up and re-roof houses for people after the tornado on the evening of November 6 caused 45 houses to be damaged or blown off their roofs. The villages that were heavily affected included Vinh Phu, Thanh Long, My Khanh and village 7. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

In Ly Son special zone, on the same morning of November 7, Ly Son Border Guard Station deployed forces to respond to and overcome the high tide situation on the night of November 6, causing flooding of about 500 households in Tay An Hai village.

In the mountainous commune of Tra Bong , militia, police and officials of Dong Tra Bong commune worked with local people to urgently clear fallen trees, clear roads and ensure traffic.
Preliminary statistics show that the entire commune had 1 house with its roof completely blown off, 7 houses with their roofs partially blown off, more than 100 areca trees broken, and about 2 hectares of corn severely damaged. No human casualties were recorded.

Before that, at around 3:00 p.m. on November 6, a resident of Tay An Vinh village jumped off the pier due to a family dispute. Two other people, Mr. Le Van Sanh (Tay An Hai village) and Mr. Phan Duy Quang (Tay An Vinh village), used a basket boat to rescue him, but due to big waves and strong winds, all three were swept out to sea. Although the authorities mobilized the transport ship VT0035 to search, due to unfavorable weather, the rescue operation was temporarily suspended.
