Responding to storm No. 13: Provincial police mobilized officers and soldiers to assist in evacuating people from flooded areas

At 10:30 p.m. on November 6, Party Secretary and Chairman of Phu Mo Commune People's Council Bui Xuan Cuong said that the rain had stopped in the northern part of Phu Mo Commune, but floodwaters were still pouring in, causing deep flooding in low-lying areas.

Currently, the water level in Phu Giang, Dong Hoi and Ky Lo villages has shown signs of slowing down and is receding. In Suoi Coi village, the water level is rising. Some houses are flooded up to the roof.

Many houses in Phu Mo commune were flooded almost up to the roof.

Suoi Coi hamlet has about 70 households living in the low-lying area that have been relocated to Xuan Quang 1 Primary School (Suoi Coi hamlet school). There have been no human casualties yet.

In the center of Dong Xuan commune, the water is also rising. The provincial police have dispatched 60 officers, soldiers, 3 cars and 1 canoe to Dong Xuan commune to assist in evacuating people.
