The Provincial People's Committee has issued a ban on going to sea from 5:00 p.m. on November 5 until the final announcement about the storm.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested the forces to clarify the deployment plan at each station, and at the same time review and adjust the military and police forces to ensure suitability with the actual situation.
For areas at high risk of flooding, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to continue inspections. If safety is not guaranteed when the flood peak rises, it is necessary to urgently evacuate people to safe places, especially households with level 4 houses and houses with corrugated iron roofs. Localities need to continue to survey and update the situation to promptly evacuate when necessary.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the spirit of direction is to be proactive, prevent at the highest level, be ready to respond in all situations, not to let human losses occur, with the motto of action "prevent further than forecast" to ensure absolute safety for the people.
