According to the Central Hydrometeorological Station, due to the influence of storm No. 13, from the evening of November 6 to November 7, in Da Nang City there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain and thunderstorms. Total rainfall in communes and wards in the plains and midlands is generally 100-250mm, in some places over 300mm; communes and wards in the southern mountainous region is generally 100-300mm, in some places over 400mm; communes and wards in the northern mountainous region is generally 80-150mm, in some places over 200mm. During thunderstorms, be on guard against lightning, hail, strong gusts of wind, and heavy rain with an intensity of over 150mm/3 hours.

Currently, floods on Vu Gia-Thu Bon River, Han River, and Tam Ky River are fluctuating at levels below alert level 1 to below alert level 2.

It is forecasted that from tonight (November 6) to November 8, floods on rivers in Da Nang City are likely to rise again. Flood peaks on Vu Gia-Thu Bon River and Tam Ky River will fluctuate at levels below BĐ2 to BĐ3; Han River will be at levels below BĐ2 to above BĐ2.

High risk of flooding in low-lying areas along rivers, flooding in urban areas, flash floods, landslides on steep slopes, along rivers in mountainous areas.

To proactively respond to storm 13 and post-storm floods, on the afternoon of November 6, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Pham Duc An requested hydropower companies to organize operations to gradually lower the water level of Song Tranh 2, A Vuong, and Song Bung 4 hydropower reservoirs to the flood-receiving water level: Song Tranh 2 +167m, A Vuong +371m, Song Bung 4: +216.5m before 5:30 a.m. on November 7. Switch to operating mode according to the provisions of Procedure 1865 of the Prime Minister .

In Hue City , the City Hydrometeorological Station said that due to the influence of storm No. 13, rain in Hue City is likely to increase again this evening and tonight (November 6). Currently, the flood waters on the rivers are slowly receding and hovering near level BĐ2.

In the next 12 hours, flood on Huong River will fluctuate at level 2, Bo River above level 2. From the next 12-24 hours, flood on rivers will rise and fluctuate at level 2 to level 3.

Warning: Due to the impact of storm No. 13, high tides and large waves have caused flooding in coastal areas and slowed down flood drainage. All areas across the city are near saturation or saturated, and many landslides have occurred recently, so the possibility of further landslides is very high, and in many other locations with large terrain slopes.

Today, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Phan Thien Dinh requested agencies, units and localities to seriously implement the instructions of the Prime Minister and the City People's Committee on storm response No. 13; take full responsibility before the Chairman of the City People's Committee and before the law if there is any irresponsibility.

Heads of departments, branches, sectors and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards shall proactively organize close monitoring of forecasts, warnings and developments of storms, rain, floods, landslides and strong winds at sea; promptly direct and deploy response measures according to the "four on-the-spot" motto, within the scope of assigned tasks and authority, not to be passive, surprised, and minimize damage to people and property. Organize inspection, review and withdraw all forces and vehicles from areas at risk of flash floods and landslides to ensure absolute safety for people and vehicles.
