Notably, Long Son is currently home to the Long Son Petrochemical Complex, one of the nation's key industrial projects, opening up opportunities to boost supporting industries, logistics, and services.
In recent years, Long Son has been positioned as a new growth hub thanks to its strategic location connecting to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, National Highway 51, and the Cai Mep - Thi Vai international seaport system, making a significant contribution to Ho Chi Minh City's strategy for sustainable marine economic development, urban industrial development, and tourism.
