Storm No. 13 landed in Quy Nhon, strong winds for nearly 5 hours

At around 5pm, storm No. 13 landed in Quy Nhon, after nearly 5 hours of raging in Quy Nhon, under the terrible wind, a series of metal roofs were blown away by the wind. Immediately after the storm landed, about 10 minutes later, many areas suffered widespread power and water outages.

According to the reporter's quick notes, the storm did not subside until around 7 p.m. Along some main roads, many trees were knocked down and uprooted, and some houses near the sea and lagoons were destroyed by the wind. After the storm passed, many houses quickly opened their main doors to "inform" their neighbors of safety through flashlights that had been prepared in advance.

At around 8pm, the wind continued to rise with strong force (weaker than the previous one), many people hurriedly continued to close their doors tightly to avoid the wind from blowing into their houses, at nearly 10pm the wind calmed down but still gusted.

According to the provincial People's Committee leader, super storm No. 13 is at level 14, gusting to level 17 - an especially dangerous level. Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requests all people in the eastern part of the province (old Binh Dinh area) to stay off the streets from 3:30 p.m., and prohibits vehicles from traveling on the streets from 5:00 p.m. today.

Gia Lai Province Civil Defense Command has officially issued an order to "close" An Khe Pass on National Highway 19 from 6:00 p.m. the previous day to 8:00 a.m. the following day. Accordingly, the Traffic Police force has set up checkpoints at both ends of the pass to prevent vehicles from passing. Currently, the An Khe Pass area only has teams of functional forces responding to traffic incidents patrolling and controlling.

The working groups are fully equipped with rescue equipment, specialized vehicles, cutting tools and lighting systems, ensuring that they can reach the scene as quickly as possible when required. In addition, the Police and Rescue forces also coordinate to handle situations that arise on the An Khe pass.
